CBNA presented a special edition of Black Voices in Nursing (BVIN) - RISE! Graduate Edition.
Panelists Joseph Osjui (Calgary), Jean-Marc Moke (Ontario), and Jacob Ahia (Manitoba) blew the roof off answering questions about their journey and why graduate pursuit is important. Special guest moderator Birgit Uwaila Umaigba also known on her Twitter space as #NursesSpeakOutForHealth was undeniably great at moderating the night and engaging the audience.
We made CBNA history as we unpacked the journey of three amazing male nurses from the CBNA community who are breaking barriers, writing their own scripts and raising above the stigmas and challenges placed on them as Black male nurses. The night was groundbreaking!
