On February 24, the Canadian Black Nurses Alliance (CBNA) McMaster and the Black Nurses and Students Allied for Success (BNSAS) program hosted “Black Nurses: Then & Now”, an inspiring panel discussion dedicated to spotlighting the experiences, achievements, and ongoing impact of Black nurses within the healthcare system. The event brought together students, emerging professionals, and seasoned clinicians for an evening of storytelling, mentorship, and community building.
Centered on the theme of navigating the nursing profession across generations, the discussion highlighted the resilience, leadership, and advocacy embodied by Black nurses at different stages of their careers.
