The CBNA Alberta chapter is one of the first provincial chapters to be established. The
founding members of CBNA Alberta Deka Egeh and Asha Farah have made it their passion to
address anti-Black racism in Alberta’s healthcare system. They see the unique
experiences of the Black Albertan nurse and pay sentiment to their journey of resiliency
and excellence.
